Once known only to local fishermen, Puzziteddu on Sicily's southwest coast was discovered by kiters hunting waves well away from the crowds. The Mistral builds two-to-three metre swell here with side-onshore conditions and a rocky-sandy coastline that rewards committed riders. There is a school for beginners but the real draw is the wave riding — a proper adventure spot within an hour of Lo Stagnone.
Prices: Smaller scene than Lo Stagnone, fewer schools but real wave spot. Bring IKO Level 3+ for the open sea conditions.
