About this spot
At the very southern tip of Sicily, Porto Palo di Capo Passero catches the full fetch of the Mediterranean. The south-easterly Scirocco and the north-westerly Maestrale both blow through here with intent, building head-high wind swell on the outside. An undiscovered gem for kiteboarders who want waves without crowds — Greece feels close, Africa closer.
