About this spot

Hamata is a remote kite spot in the far south of Egypt's Red Sea coast, offering pristine flat-water lagoons sheltered by offshore islands and coral reefs. The winds are reliable and the area is very uncrowded, giving a true wilderness kite experience. Accessible by a long desert drive, it rewards those who make the journey.
