About this spot
Wimereux near Boulogne-sur-Mer is a well-known kitesurfing spot on the Opal Coast with strong reliable Channel winds. The exposed beach receives consistent south-westerly and north-westerly winds and moderate swells. The tidal range is large so kiters must be aware of rapidly changing water depth.
