About this spot
Located near the mouth of the IJzer river, Nieuwpoort offers a mix of flat water in the harbour area and open sea conditions on the beach. The tidal flats near the harbour can provide calmer sessions for beginners. Winds are consistent from the south-west throughout the riding season.
