About this spot
Hendaye is the southernmost beach resort on the French Atlantic coast, offering a wide sandy beach and moderate Atlantic conditions. The bay is partially sheltered by the Spanish coast and Txingudi estuary making it suitable for a range of skill levels. Consistent south-westerly winds prevail in summer.
