About this spot
Near the famous Dune du Pilat, the Atlantic beach just outside Arcachon Bay offers exposed ocean kitesurfing with strong consistent winds. The massive dune creates interesting local wind effects and the open beach provides good launch conditions. It is a scenic and reliable spot on the Aquitaine coast.
