About this spot
Falassarna is a wide, west-facing sandy beach on the far northwest tip of Crete, exposed to westerly and northwesterly winds that can reach considerable strength. The long beach provides plenty of space for kiteboarding and the water is clear and scenic. It is one of the better kite spots in western Crete.
