Courseulles-sur-Mer on the Normandy coast is one of the better kitesurfing spots in northern France, with strong Channel winds and a wide sandy beach. The consistent north-westerly and westerly winds make it wind-reliable, though the water is cold. The tidal range is significant and kiters must plan sessions accordingly.
