About this spot

L'Almanarre near Hyères is a legendary flat-water spot on the Mediterranean sheltered by the Giens peninsula. The Mistral wind funnels through the bay creating consistent side-shore conditions, and the shallow sandy bottom makes it very safe. It hosts international freestyle competitions and has excellent kite schools.
